Kora CBA Operations

Day-to-day guides for the staff who actually run a bank on Kora CBA — tellers at the counter, customer service officers opening accounts, loan officers underwriting, branch managers signing off, auditors validating, finance closing the books.

This is separate from the developer documentation. If you're integrating with our API, start there instead. If you're using the Kora CBA admin console as a bank employee, you're in the right place.

Pick your role

The fastest way in is by role:

  • Teller — cash in, cash out, cheques, vault & till.
  • Customer Service Officer (CSO) — account opening, KYC, customer maintenance.
  • Loan Officer — application, underwriting, disbursement, restructure.
  • Branch Manager — approvals, branch-day open/close, exception handling.
  • Auditor — call-over, dual control, audit trail.
  • Finance — period close, reconciliation, regulatory returns.

How these guides are organised

Each guide is one of four types — based on what you came here for:

TypeUse when you're asking…Example
Walkthrough"How do I do X end to end?"Cash deposit from a walk-in customer
Reference"What does this screen / field do?"Account search filters
Runbook"Something broke — what now?"Till is out of balance at end of day
Decision"Which path applies to this customer?"Mutilated note adjudication

Inside any page you'll see badges at the top showing the roles the page applies to and, where relevant, the CBN clause the procedure satisfies. Auditors and inspectors can search the same docs by CBN clause; staff search by task.

Offline & print

Every guide is also available as a PDF for offline use and for branches that prefer a bound reference. Each persona ships its own bundle (Teller bundle ≠ CSO bundle) so you only print what you'll actually use.

PDF downloads are linked from each role's index page.

Need help we haven't documented?

Use the search box top-right — it indexes every guide, including the developer reference. If you still don't find an answer, reach out to your branch manager; we add the missing procedure on the next release.
